Confined Space Working in a confined space falls under Australian Standard AS 2865 and can be a very hazardous occupation. Rescuing from a confined space is a requirement that needs to be thoroughly planned for and rehearsed. Confined space entry and exit can require specialized equipment and training. Hazards may include fall potentials, low visibility, atmospheric dangers, infections, heat and noise depending on the location.
