The Outdoor Life Group complies with the National Privacy Principals and to ensure that your privacy and the information that you provide to the organisation is safeguarded at all times.

In accordance with the National Privacy Principals, The Outdoor Life Group will:

• Not use any personal or sensitive information we have collected for any purpose other than that initially specified without seeking the individual’s consent. We may however share information connected with a purchase, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your purchase. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that may deliver your purchase.

• Not share, sell, rent or barter any personal and/or sensitive information we have collected without prior consent.

• Not disclose personal or sensitive information to any organisation or individual that has not given a commitment to deal with such information in a way which is consistent with the National Privacy Principles.

• Ensure that we will not send direct mail or e-mail to anyone whose personal information is held on an Outdoor Life Group database unless they have given us consent or have asked us to do so via a subscription or request to be added to a mailing list.

• Ensure mail or e-mail sent from an Outdoor Life Group database has a means to have the addressee’s name removed from the database.

• Ensure that if you enter a contest or other promotional feature, where we ask for your name, address and/or an e-mail address, so we can administer the contest and notify winners, we will not send correspondence without your permission. We may ask for other information to improve our services to you or to send you special offers.

• Ensure the security of all personal or sensitive information held by the organisation from tampering or interference by outside sources or unauthorized use by employees or agents of the organisation.

• Ensure that any paper based information is destroyed by secure means after entry onto The Outdoor Life Group database.
