The OpLux is an tactical rope built for users who need strength without the bulk. A cut-resistant Spectra® (UHMWPE fiber) core is paired with a blended Technora® (para-aramid fiber) sheath, giving it an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio in a diameter far smaller than traditional 10mm or 13mm rescue lines.
At just 8mm, OpLux is engineered for speed and portability: light enough to stow easily, strong enough for abseiling, short-haul, and rescue operations in demanding terrain. The Technora® sheath resists abrasion and wear, absorbs minimal water, and holds up in wet, rugged conditions, while minimal sheath slippage keeps rappels smooth and controlled. Low static elongation ensures predictable, reliable performance when it counts.
